After Joseph Webb's death in Dec 1845, there was a Thomas Webb at the sale of his possessions. I'll have to look up the records, can't put my hand on them tonight. I remember thinking it could have been Thomas Martin Webb, a DNA match to our line ( possibly a son who would have been in his mid teens at the time) or another Thomas Webb, possibly a brother to our Joseph and Hiram Webb. It seems to me he bought cotton and a rifle at that sale. Notes on Thomas Martin Webb identify him as a " buyer of several estate sales." The info on Thomas Martin Webb is thanks to Sherry Jones.
