Hi Emily, I am descended from Benjamin I. Webb (1789, Washington County, Ga - 1852 Dooley County, Ga), married Amelia Powell (abt 1891 Montgomery County, Ga - 1846 Ga.), via son Cullen Webb (1810 Early County, Ga - died? (after 1860 census) probably Early County, Ga). Is this the Benjamin Webb of whom you wrote? I don't know why these Turners are such a pain to find. I have had absolutely no luck with these people. Except my Roberts which I have searched all the way back to the Mayflower being (Gainor Roberts - on the Mayflower). My webb's however is Benjamin Webb from Ga. (not Benjamin Franklin Webb) I will get together with you however, and see what we can come up with. Let's all keep in touch with what we find. If any one needs any additional info, I am connected to Ancestry.Com and would be glad to look anything up for anyone. As far as Turners go (Irene) They are impossible people to find (WHY!) I have been searching on the same man for the past two years. It was like they were wiped away from existance. I know tho' my turners name is James Andrew Alford (hismotherslastname) Turner from Walterboro SC. I have come to the conclusion that Alford being there Your Turner could've been his mother's last name and his father last name is Webb. Call me Crazy. I will be adding all of my info to my website if you'd care to look at it although I am in the middle of rearranging things so I haven't got much on there now. (These Turners could be my Turners too, I have no clue because I am at a brick wall I did get one more name down from my list tho' from the SSDI (aka - social security death index if you know last residence this is very help but i do have his ssn.).Again, Please keep in contact. www.strictlygenealogyimages.org Regards, Paige Roberts -----Original Message----- From: Renedee28@aol.com <Renedee28@aol.com> To: WEBB-L@rootsweb.com <WEBB-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, January 01, 2002 6:40 AM Subject: Re: Fw: [WEBB] Wealthy Webb >Emily, I have been long looking for a Webb/Turner connection going back to >18th century, when John Turner Webb was born to Robert Webb.
