Abraham Childers was one of the early menbers of St John's church where the "Give Me Liberty" speech was made by Patrick Henry. He( Childers) and Abraham Womack had some dispute about an early start on a horse race.. There's lots of info on that , for any Childers researcher. Catherine

Catherine, how can I get access to this material? I don't know who the ancestors are for my John B. Childers b abt 1800-1803 in VA?, so will search any Childers at this point.
