I am still searching for information on my grandfather, Charlie Clifford Webb. What I "know" is that Charlie married Cora Lee Clark c1907 and they lived on a ranch at Bartlesville, Washington County, OK. They had 3 children all born there: 1) Guy Clifford Webb b 1907, 2) Jessie Webb b 1909, and 3) Gladys Irine Webb b 1911. Charlie and Cora divorced prior to 1925 and he went to Ft Smith ARK, she went to Dallas Texas. Charlie died in Ft Smith when my Dad, Guy Webb, was 18 years old. Charlie had a cousin, Hattie, who was known to my family as "Aunt Hattie" but we knew she was really Charlie Webb's cousin. I found Charlie, age 16, on the 1900 census for Washington County, Ok listed as head of house with his sister, Hattie, age 7. State of birth is MO. (no other persons listed) I have a death certificate for a Charlie Webb who died March 11, 1925 in Ft Smith. Parents are listed as James Webb b in Cook Co, TX, and Mollie Jones, born in Washington Co, ARK. Charlie is listed as 44 years old and born in Washington Co, ARK. Thus, he was born c1881. I found a marriage record for James C. Webb and Mary Jones on 19 Sep 1879 in Washington Co, Ark. Does anyone have any information on this family? I would appreciate any information.
