My John Webb was b between 1790 and 1795 in KY? He married Martha Patsy Landrum on Jan 15, 1811 in Williamson Co. TN. He brother was Security and preformed the marriage ceremony. His name was Rev Thomas Landrum. I can't trace back my John Webb past the 1930 TN Census showing he was in the time frame above. One of his daughter's said in her 1880 Ballard Co. KY Census that her father was born in KY and her mother was born in SC. She was right about her mother. Sam Webb Dear Sam, Several of James Webb's sons went to KY. Have you ever considered that perhaps John Webb's father died and his mother remarried and looked at WEBB women marrying in early KY to see if they show up in TN when your John Webb does? Bob Keyes has been doing an excellent job on this family, but I don't think he has traced all the lines of descent down and could probably use some help on that. He's got a good start on his site, and you might be able to figure out which Webb/Boone descendants are contenders by working down from them. I think I have mentioned several times to your group that given the 37/37 match between the descendants of George and James Webb, sons of John and Mary Boone Webb, your group needs to expand the markers you have tested to see if you can locate markers to distinguish between the sub-lineages in this family group. And, of course, it would help if we could get more descendants of this tree to participate in the Project as well. Anne
