Anne I've been pulling lots of information on the Franklin County, Virginis Webb's for the past two years have stacks and stacks of printed out info (got to get it organized). I'm a member of the WEBB DNA project, one of the four who has connected William Smith Webb. I've made contact with a man who lives in Virginia and is a descendant from that Webb line (his mother's side), he is my eyes in Virginia, and we are sharing what we find. Theodorick Webb - died Franklin County, VA, will probated Sept. 1807 looks to be the son of Cuthbert Webb, son of John Webb (1694-1736). His son Theodorick married Nancy Calloway and when she died he married Julia Patterson Wade, widow of Henry Wade. I have found them all on census records etc. I'm beginning to believe that each of John Webb's son, named a son Theodorick....and my Gabriel Webb (1822-1913) of Hawkins County, TN., is more than likely a son of one of one of his brothers...have established which one yet. My grandmother always told us that we were related to Loretta Lynn, however I can't find the connect as yet, she stated that my father and his two brothers were cousins to her....don't know if she meant direct cousin or distant. I would love to see some of the documentation on that Webb lineage. Wanda
