I am trying to connect my James Webb, born circa 1802 in MA (county unknown), to one of the Webb families in the area at the time. Without a county of birth, it's a difficult task to begin. I have been following the posts on the Richard/Wm/Christopher/Henry line trying to see if he may descend from one of these brothers. My James moved to NY "at a young age", presumably sometime between 1803 and say 1815, and was in Jefferson Co Ny by 1830, probably sooner. He moved to Wisconsin in 1849. Is there any comprhensive listing of the Webb lineage? I am considering asking my sister's son to do DNA testing to help narrow this down. Deb Mills
