In sorting thru some very old Webb notes I came across this info. Unfortunately I cannot give the dates of the publication, but the info was in "Kentucky Ancestors". In the article it stated that a David McManis b 31 (?) April 1795 d 1845 in Washington Twp., Miami Co., IN m 26 Jan 1830 to Elizabeth Webb b 17 Oct 1799 Shelby Co., Ky. (She m 2 Thomas.) Moved to to Miami Co IN in 1841-42. Samuel McMannis m Mary Webb 10 Jan 1810 John McMannis m Rachel Rodmann 17 Aug 1813 Adam Webb m Jane VanCleve 17 Dec 1795 I have not connected these folks to my James and Jane Claxton Webb from Shelby Co. Does anyone know to whom these folks may be connected? Lynda Wirth
