    2. Anne, This information comes from the book GOAD AND WEBB FAMILY OF SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA, VOL 1 by Janice K. Smith. She uses the records of St. Peters and the wills to back up what she has printed. What did the DNA test show? Rachel

Nevertheless, I also know it's quite possible you have some documentation he never located. Therefore, if you have such documentation, I would be very interested in seeing it. 3. Looking for Documentation on the following John Webb born sometimes around 1660 in possibly England died in Henrico Co. Va before midyear 1726 Will is listed in the Library of Virginia. Will was probated 6 June, 1726 with the Inventory and appraisal dated 4 July, 1726. (I have ordered the will but will be 4 to 6 weeks, (Yep, Hard waiting). Land records according to what I have seen so far shows 1- John Webb 2- Henry Webb 3- Merry Webb as the only one in the Henrico/Goochland during that time frame. I think that there was another JOHN, The son of John who lived in the area also. This son of JOhn, I think he died around 1736 in Henrico as there is another will listed at the Library of Virginia. Would appreate any; Others with land in the area of James River and either the Willis River or Deep Creek as cross points. thanks -- joe webb DNA trail road block MERRY WEBB (ABT 1700 VIRGINIA) Paper trail road block JOHN WEBB (1797 Lincoln Co.,NC)
