I have a Benjamin Webb born in the late 1700's. His father was Nutter Webb. Any relation? Veldonna
Is anyone on the list working on the Reuben Webb family? Reuben was born about 1764 in Virginia (now West Virginia?) and died 1850 at 86yr. He married Ann Thompson 15, February 1805 in Belmont Co., Ohio. Moved to Brown Co., Ohio by 1816 where the family lived. I have issue; (probably more) 1.) Reuben Thompson Webb who moved to Tippecanoe Co., Indiana about 1850. 2.) James Webb who married Miranda (Clutter) 3.) Alice Webb who married James A. Bell (our line) 4.) Nathaniel Webb 5.) George W. Webb lived Clermont Co., Ohio Would like to share information on this Webb family. Thank you, Carleene Roe Carleene (Olds) Roe Kettering, Ohio carleeneroe@prodigy.net
Sorry - none of these are familiar with me - my family did live in Virginia, but came to NC about 1735. Irene Webb Dorsey

Hi List Looking for any Northampton.K connections. Carol Christmas Greetings from Kent. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.306 / Virus Database: 166 - Release Date: 12/4/01
NO It is absolutely not needed to change one's e-mail prg. Thats a hoax people who do not know what they are talking about are spreading. I have used OE every since I WAS a BETA tester for it == I also TEACH OE and it is no more at risk than any other prg. If you have an antivirus program and check the update daily, and also run Zone Alarm * a must* for those who want to be safer. I run 53 lists, and 99 message boards 22 lists on Yahoo >>ARE = HTML active <=== I have no Virus / have not had one. All it takes is learning your e-mail program////// Folks if you like the e-mail prg you use, keep it. If you changed to something else because * some one said too* and dont like it, change back to one you do like. If you need any help on OE for any thing, I have a computer help list you can join. I will personally help you, along with some other good people there. I do not try to encourage any one from using what they like//// Gee folks , there are Virus out there for MAC/MS/ and OS you can think of, and any e-mail prg there is, and a few multi virus that just hit any thing; your Hard drive, ram, OS etc: If we just run around changing the prgs and not using the antivirus and firewalls , or learning how prg's work, we will all just be sitting ducks = Write me wb@wvi.com for help. I have a list for just people who want to be there, mainly members of all my lists , its for fun as well as serious help. We do prg's, from digital cameras, Virus, E-mail prgs, I look for helpers on any thing other than OE, but any one who wants to join to give me a hand on OE is also very welcome. I am not going to have people posting to the lists and going on and on with virus conversations or telling people to change e-mail prgs. If some one the list gets a virus , just tell me at my private addy, send me the warning, just dont send the virus <G> Also please do not make this a conversation here , I have a special list my self to help you if you wish . PS = if you have a MAC, do not feel too safe , there are lots of viri out there , something like over 2000 for Mac,Linux,Unix and other OS. Those who keep posting about Virus on list and no genealogy could be unsubscribed fast. See my web site for Virus help, on the bottom of that web page is a subscribe link for my help list. On what you can to protect yourself is to remind the good folk on the list to change their e-mail program to anything else, but MS Outlook. Eudora, Pegasus mail, Netscape anything, but the MS product. Seeing that these Viruses are written to take advantage of this programs lack of security? If you can afford to do so change your OS from MS to any other available OS Linux/Solaris, OS2, BeOS, QNX, Symbian OS, or get a Mac. Doing anyone or both will stop these critters dead in their tracks. Hi Glenn; Did I tell you that I found John and Louvisa living in Ozark Co.,MO in the 1860 census? Sandy.
I am looking for information about possible siblings, parents etc. for John Webb. He showed up on the 1860 Dekalb Co.,TN census as: #154 Webb, John, 64 Louvisa, 31 I believe that he may be the father of my gggf John Webb who married Louvisa Smith. They were ages 25 and 21 in the 1850 Jackson Co. District, TN census. Family notes indicated that John Webb came from Ireland in the late 1700s or early 1800s. But, my gggf would have been much too young, whereas John (of Dekalb) would have been the right age. I have heard of a Levi Webb in Dekalb Co. and we have many Levi's in my Webb ancestry. Could he have been a brother? Any information from those with Dekalb Co., TN Webbs would be appreciated. Glenn
One we need most is Sarah Webb m Runnels , we have every thing for Runnels and nothing for Sarah, we do not know who the parents were. When my husband passed away the VA Hospital furnished info for the death certificate and as we live in a rural area of Hunt Co, TX, we have an address that is Royse City (Rockwall Co) so Rockwall County was given as the residence. Shirley Webb Cullum
this is a pretty good hint, but don't rely on it. We were giving the mortician the information he needed for my mother's death certificate, and my brother had the wrong place of birth..had I not been there and known better, it would have been recorded wrong! Catherine
Hey List, I have been busy, But I wanted to bounce some things off ya'll, cause ya'll have always came thru before, for me. Ok 1st I asked for a 1880 census Index lookup. Got a Louis Listed with a William Milton and Elizabeth Webb in Smithfield District, Roane County, WV, with another brother Preston. Louis was 1 and it stated they was all born in VA. so I asked for a second lookup, same district and county, WV. And Again there was the same family with just more children Preston, Louis, William Jr., Mary Jane, Logan, Frank, Jesse, Emma, Renie, James Jennings, Early. It still states the Louis, Preston and parents was all born in VA. So I went to the Library and Finally found my Louis and Pearl and 2 kids on a 1920 Census. And it too states that Louis and his parents was born in VA. So Now Comes My Problem, How do I prove This is my Louis in WV. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated. ===== Have of Great Day XOXOXOX...Kimmyann kimmyann_1969@yahoo.com kimmyann69@hotmail.com kimmyann@samlink.com http://samlink.com/~kimmyann/ http://www.kimmyanns-page.cityslide.com/contents/contents.cfm/802155 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
