    1. [WEBB] Charlie C. Webb born c1884 MO
    2. I am still searching for information on my grandfather, Charlie C. Webb. He was born, according to the 1900 Washington County OK Census, c1884 in MO. He married Cora Clark c1907 in OK or ARK and they had 3 children: Guy Clifford, Jessie, and Gladys Irine Webb, all born in OK. Charlie died c1925 in Ft Smith, ARK. The "C." probably stands for Clifford. Shirley Webb Cullum

    1. Re: [WEBB] Female E. J. WEBB b MS c 1859 --anybody?
    2. This child would have a mother named ANGELINE (spelling may vary) born in MS c. 1843. Maiden name might have been Myers. Angeline's mother might have been Mary, born in SC & Angeline might have had a brother named David who married a NOBLES in MS. Probably raised by a stepfather. May have moved from MS, but she is with her mother and father in MS in the 1860 Rankin Co., MS Census. I have NO idea what the E J stands for, but the father had a sister Elizabeth and a grandmother Jane, so it might be Elizabeth Jane or Eliza Jane. Of course it could be just about anything else too! Any leads will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Anne W. Nelson

    2. The post about basketmakers made me wonder about my WEBBs. I have a family of WEBBs that we believe came to GA from NC. The earliest documentable one was Elias born c 1790. He was a "turner." Any other WEBB turners in the NC/SC/GA/E TN area? Anne

    3. Netscape has free mail. I think it has a 10 meg e-mail box too. Also this ======= NOW READ THIS BELOW AND PASS THIS PART ON ========================================= Subject: [ulrp-update] Urban Legends Reference Pages Update #72 MORE IMPORTANT NEWS, BUT NOT NEARLY AS NICE -- On Thursday, March 28, Yahoo! Groups set everyone's account to the "Have your advertisers send me mail" option no matter what folks had previously elected as their preference. Because this has gone from an opt-in service to an opt-out one, if you are a member of a Yahoo! Groups-based email list and have no desire to surrender your inbox to a deluge of mail (ie. spam) from Yahoo!'s advertisers, you have to tell them that you don't want this mail -- if you don't say anything, they will just send it. Yahoo! Groups does not host this mailing list, so if you're on only this one list, you're already safe from Yahoo!'s new advertising policy and don't need to do anything. We include the following information merely for the benefit of those who are also subscribed to Yahoo!-based mailing lists: Here's how to get yourself back to a non-Yahoo!-spammed state. Please note you're the only one who can make this change; list moderators don't have access to your account, so they can't reset this for you. Go to Yahoo Groups (http://groups.yahoo.com) and sign in. Go to My Groups and click on Account Info, verify your password if it asks you to, which will bring up your Yahoo ID card. Click on 'Edit Your Marketing Preferences' and change all those Yes's back to No's. Click 'Save Changes.' ============================== So there is more and more coming up. I changed my Yahoo address to Netscape. Dan
