For Mary, Would you be so like as to look for Ruffin Webb, b. abt 1817, maybe in Ms, but not for sure. His first wife was Harriet E. Robinson; second wife, Martha E. Ussery, married 2 Jul 1856. I don't know who are his parents. I am seeking any additional information that you can provide about the parents/siblings of Pleasant Webb. Thanks a million. ============== Pleasant (Plesent) WEBB was born about ca 1760-1765. His son, Elias, said that his father, Pleasant was born in Ireland (not substantiated). He died between 1830 and 1840 in Ohio, USA. Around 1800 Pleasant and family came in to the Ohio valley from Rutherford County, North Carolina. In 1803 (reported to be 45 years old) he was at the Licks in Scioto County, Ohio. Pleasant was in GreenupCounty, Kentucky in 1820 and in Lawrence County, Ohio in 1830. He did not appear in the 1840 census, so it is believed he died between 1830-1840. Pleasant (Plesent) WEBB and Unknown had the following children: James WEBB (1786), Elias WEBB (1788), Thomas Hanley WEBB (1795), Aden WEBB (1797), Temperance WEBB (1799), William WEBB (1801), Margaret WEBB (1806), Sarah (Sally) WEBB (1809), and Baker WEBB (1811). My gr.grandpa had an extra thumb. My Webbs come out of VA.into KY. Charlene, think you and I had been in touch on this subject sometime back. Please get in touch. We are involved with the Webb DNA study (kit num.18106) and have 2 matches with Webb's coming out of the Buckingham Co.VA.area. We had thought that our Webb line was of the John Webb and Mary Boone line, but DNA has shown that this is not the case so we are digging deep in the Buckingham Co.area.
