In the 1850 Nicholas Co. KY census, George P. WEAVER, b. 1810, KY, is listed with his wife Joanna (HARDWICK) , b. 1813, KY, d. 1899, IN. and children: 1. John H., b. 1834, KY 2. James P. , b. 1837, KY 3. Sarah E., b. 1838, KY 4. Rebecca Kathryn, b. 1843, IN, d. 1912, IN (my Ggradnmother) 5. William E. , b. 1845, IN, d. IN 6. Samuel, b. 1846, KY 7. Martha, b. 1849, KY 8. Mary Jane, b. 1853, KY (listed in 1860 Jackson Co., IN census) I have never been able to find a marriage record for George and Joanna. I have strong suspicions that Joanna was his second wife. I cannot document the birth of Rebecca and William E. in Indiana, but I have the biths listed in HER bible, so I am pretty sure it is true. I have been unable to find George Weaver before 1850 KY and after 1860 IN. I did find a BLM record of 160 acres in Jackson Co., IN dated 1858. Also, in the 1850 Nicholas Co., KY census, is listed a Reuben WEAVER with wife Cinthia (Hardwick) who was the sister of Joanna (wife of George). They also moved to IN, but to Shelby County.
