Hi Mary, I am helping my son-in-law trace his Weaver family from TN. We don't have a lot of info yet, but here's what we have. WEAVER,Tom, unknown parents or county of birth. He married Cassina Kirby from TN, no other info on her. I'm guessing they were born in mid 1800's. They moved to Arkansas and had at least one child, Mary Louise Weaver, b.1879 in AR. The family believes Mary is at least part Cherokee Indian, unknown if from mother or father's side. Have you heard of Weavers being Indian? If she is only part Indian it could be from her Kirby side, we're still trying to find out. I would love to hear from you if you have any info on this branch of Weaver's, Thanks, Charlotte A.
