Hi, I'm looking for my husband's ggg grandfather, Michael Weaver. He was born in 1830 in Pennsylvania, and married Mary Jane Fox (no date). Mary Jane was born in 1837 in Michigan. We know from a will and probate of Michael's that he arrived in Marengo Twp., (Calhoun Co.) Michigan in 1854. We think Michael served in the Civil War, because there is a GAR marker on his grave, but we can find no evidence of him anywhere (so far) in our Civil War searchings. His death record does not list any parents names. Just that he was born in PA. Michael died 11/19/1870. Michael Weaver and Mary Jane Fox had 5 children: Charles Erwin b 1/6/1857 (my husband's gg grandfather), William b 1859, Mary E. b 1860, Ida b 1865, and Emma b Dec. 1869. Charles Erwin Weaver m Mary Elizabeth Martin 10/1/1879. They had 3 children: Grace Ina b 4/11/1881 (my husband's g grandmother), Clyde A. b 10/19/1886, and Gladys b 6/3/1891. Grace Ina Weaver m Charlie Sidney Holt 12/25/1901. They had 5 children: Bertha Elinor b 12/3/1902 (my husband's grandmother), Bernice Lorraine b 10/10/1904, Charlotte June b 9/6/1906, Clyde LaVern b 11/20/1908, and Erwin Wheeler b 6/13/1913. Bertha Elinor Holt m Clifford C. Hunt in Nov., 1925. They had 2 children: Helen Adell b 4/19/1926 (my husband's mother), and Floyd Elmer b 9/4/1928. Helen Adell Hunt m Earl William Yates 6/19/1942. They had 3 children: David Earl b 5/19/1943, Jeffery Lynn b 12/1/1944 (my husband), and Linda Earlene b 7/17/1946. This is probably too much information to put on the list, but we are getting frustrated trying to find Michael Weaver. Does anyone have any information on him? His parents names, where in PA he was born, any siblings? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Marcy Yates
