    3. Greetings to the Weaver list from a new member, I have been researching the surname WOOLWEAVER, dating from the early to mid-1700's in Dutchess County, New York, and prior to that in New Amsterdam, appearing there as Wollewever, Follewever, Fulwever, Weber, Webber et al conceivable variations of this name. A little later this name appears as Vollewyser and Volleweiser, and also as Wever and De Wever. Appearing in the same family with my dreaded WOOLWEAVERS, are Mary WEAVER born about 1770 in the Colony of New York, most likely in Dutchess County, who married Frederick Stover (Frederick's MOTHER was Mary Woolweaver). Then I have the SON of Frederick and Mary WEAVER Stover, Albert Carey Stover marrying Elizabeth "Betsey" Weber, who was born around 1814 and died in 1886 in Ontario Canada. Has anyone on this WEAVER list ever run into anything remotely resembling WOOLWEAVER, or can anyone tell me anything about either Mary WEAVER Stover, Or Elizabeth "Betsey" WEBER Stover? Many thanks from the Woolweaver trenches! Regards, Sharilyn Whitaker
