    3. I assume you have seen my listing of my line of WEAVERS. There are also some other Weavers in our book, which are not lineal ancestors, but collateral. I'm listing all of them here for you in case there may be some point of contact. >From - "The Nicholas Hess Family 1741-1962" p. 4 -- Addison J.HESS (b. Dec. 27, 1824, d. Nov. 27, 1882) married Mrs. Sarah Rufe WEAVER (b. Mar. 11, 1827, d. Apr. 22, 1897) after the death of his first wife Hannah BRUNNER (BITZ). Residence - Springtown, Pa. (No issue). "Addison was drafted into the U. S. military serviceOct. 16, 1862, but after reaching camp in West Philadelphia, he furnished a substitute and received his discharge. After his death, the "Mansion House" which he purchased from his father was sold. p. 44 -- Eliza Anna HESS (B-Sept. 27, 1856, date of death unknown) married Nathan WEAVER (b. July 31, 1857, Bingen, Pa.) sometime after the death of her first husband James GROSS on Jan. 6, 1887. No record of any offspring. No other info. p. 54 -- John A. CAMPBELL (b. Jan. 25, 1853, Pleasant Valley, Pa.) married Amanda WEAVER (b. Oct. 5, 1853, d. Mar. 14, 1885). Eight children - Valdimer, Millicent, John, Vena, Kate, Bessie, Levi, and Claude. "John was employed as a farm hand and in iron and zinc mines in Lehigh Co. In 1874, he moved to Lycoming Co., where he was employed in a tannery. When he moved to So. Williamsport he started huckstering and marketing." 1912 edition. p. 64 -- Arminta AMEY (b. Dec. 8, 1844) married M. F. Weaver (occupation - butcher - residence - Allentown, Pa.). Five children - Anna, Harvey, Laura, Gertrude, Sara. No other info. p. 65 -- Maria AMEY (sister of Arminta) (1858-1892) married Peter WEAVER (empl. steelworker - residence - Bethlehem, Pa.). Four children - Emma, Harry, George, Edgar. No other info. p. 65 -- Joseph HESS (b. Apr. 25, 1776, d. Mar. 25, 1837) married Maria Catherine WEAVER (b. Dec. 15, 1780, d. Dec. 6, 1846) Both buried Springfield Church Cemetery (known as Hess' Corner). Residence Springtown, Pa. Six children - Abigail, Susanna, Rev. Isaac, Jacob, Ann, and David W. "Joseph was a musician by profession, taught music for many years. He was a wellknown schoolmaster before the enactment of the public school system. 1912 edition. p. 97 -- J. George AMEY (b. July 23, 1861 married Rebecca WEAVER (b. Apr. 15, 1856, d. Jan. 4, 1894). One child - Celia. Residence Richland Twp. Pa., work - farmer. p. 103 -- James Frederick HOTTLE (b. Sept. 19, 1911) maried Ruth WEAVER (b. July 5, 1912, d. Oct. 28, 1947). One child - Alice. p. 129 -- Sarah KOHL(b. Apr. 11, 1858) married John D. WEAVER (b. Nov. 13, 1856). Three children - no names. p. 136 -- Samuel HESS (1783-1852) married Mrs. Maria REISS, nee WEAVER (b. Dec. 22, 1772, d. Dec. 12, 1865) after the departure of his first wife, Elizabeth RINKER. (Note: here comes the moment of truth - no dodging the facts). "Samuel was addicted to strong drink, and neither of his wives continued to live with him. His second wife lived to the age of 108 years." 1912 edition. p. 148 -- J. Maynard HESS (b. Apr. 28, 1882) married Lizzie M. Weaver (b. June 26, 1881) (empl. Kleinhans truck farm, residence - Easton, Pa.). Four children - Fred, George, Charles, Bertha. No other info. p. 148 -- Christiana HESS (b. Jan 28, 1823, d. July 9, 1884) married John W. WEAVER (b. Oct. 18, 1821, d. Aug. 29, 1899) on Nov. 29, 1849. Both buried in New Jerusalem Cemetery, Leithsville, Pa. Seven children - William Benjamin, Mary E., Mahlon, Catherine Anna, Sarah Alice, John McClellan, Susanna. Their descendants take the following four pages, which is too much to go into here. For specific information, just ask me. p. 149 -- John Klotz (grandchild) (b. Jan. 24, 1890, d. Aug. 3, 1944) married Annie M. WEAVER (b. Oct 1, 1893) on May 12, 1917). Res. Leithsville, Pa. Four children - Katie, Harry, Maynard, Ada. John was empl. P. B. & N. E. R. R. Co. p. 195 -- Larae FRITZINGER (f.) (b. Jan. 5, 1937) married Lee WEAVER (m.), residence Gainesville, Fla., one daughter - name not recorded. No other info. p. 229 -- Amelia E. LERCH (b. Jan. 31, 1847 Lo. Saucon Twp., d. Apr. 5, 1910) married William M. WEAVER (b. Sep. 25, 1839, d. Aug. 1, 1924) on Jan. 16, 1873. (residence - Weaversville, Pa. Mr. Weaver's occupation - farmer). Both buried in Lower Saucon Cemetery, Lower Saucon Twp., Pa. Three children - Elsie, Howard, Stewart. All the above married into the HESS line at various times, but probaby were not related otherwise. There is no known connection to Tobias WEAVER, my gg grandfather, who married Louisa J HESS, thus getting me into the book. There are also a few WEBERS listed, as follows: Grace FABIAN (b. Jan. 19, 1943) married John WEBER Jr. on Jan. 22, 1961. Residence Ortanna, Pa. No other info. p. 103 -- Harold Clarence HOTTLE (b. Dec. 5, 1915) (brother of James Frederick Hottle, above) married Charlotte WEBER (b. Oct. 3, 1916). Two children - Harold, Jr., and Joan. p. 193 -- Catherine (Kate) Beidelman (b. June 5, 1844, d. 1921) married Joseph (WEAVER) WEBER (b. 1838, Lo. Saucon Twp., d. 1916, Bethlehem, Pa.). Two children - Howard and Carrie. One and one-half pages of their decendants follow. If you want to know more detail, tell me. p. 233 -- Kenneth H. LERCH (b. Aug. 14, 1921 Hellertown, Pa.) married Caroline WEBER (b. July 28, 1924, Northampton, Pa.) on Apr. 27, 1946. Two children - Kenneth and William. This is a complete record of WEAVERS and WEBERS in our book (sorry, no WEBBERS), except that I have not gone beyond the immediate offspring of the first marriage. If you want any more information, please let me know. I had to eyeball 300 pages to come up with this. I don't think I missed any.
