Hi folks. I haven't posted anything for awhile and I have found some more information, so here it is in case anyone knows anything about this group of Weavers. 1850 census of Cedar County, Iowa Name Age Born George 31 Ohio Sarah 30 New York Henry 9 Ohio Christopher 8 Ohio John 7 Ohio Gilbert 4 Iowa Walker 2 Iowa George M. 1 Iowa I also found where a Henry Weaver and a John Weaver were privates in H Company, 35th Infantry in the Civil War, and that they enlisted from Cedar County, so it looks like the ages of the two above would be about right. Walker was my great-grandfather. At some point he married Harriett Sendall, born in Wyoto, Wisconsin. They had: Etty George Charlie Mary Frank Henry born 1874, died 1945 Grand Junction, CO Nora Fred Frank was my grandfather. In 1911 he married Iva Mae Hoisington, from Wisconsin. They had: Mamie born 1912 Oliver Franklin born 1920, died 1986 Elmer Leroy born 1923 Oliver Franklin was my father. Anyway, does anyone have any info on these people? I am kind of stuck at the beginning of this since I don't know where in Ohio George came from, so that is taking longer. Thanks for any help, Karen Karen G.
