Hello I am new to list and don't know if there have been previous querys on this couple. I am descended from James Coward and Ms. Weaver of Rutherford County NC. Their first child was born about 1771. I am looking for info on their ancestors and name of Ms. Weaver. Children: (info I was given) Jonathan married Martha Hutson Margaret married Abraham Chastain Peter (my line) married Nancy Dimsdale (nancy was widow-don't know her maiden name) Sarah Married David Cockerham Benjamin married Elizabeth Laughter James Jr. married Mary Worley Female married Abselem Chastain Millicent Stephen married Amilia Rogers Rebecca married Obidiah Worley Elihu married Mary Chastain 1st Charlotte Bird 2nd I have seen info that Samuel and Mary Ann Bollinger Weaver were Ms. Weavers parents; however, they did not get married until after James Coward and Ms Weaver!
