I would appreciate any bits you could feed me based on the below info. I am Charles T. (Chuck) WEAVER, 6. i. at the end of this initial list. The only WEAVER family I have any record of are those listed below who settled in Lower Saucon Twp., Northampton Cty., PA. I am trying to trace the family back beyond Tobias WEAVER. The marriage of Tobias S. WEAVER (son of Tobias) to Louisa J. HESS, was the point at which the WEAVER family and the HESS family merged, but I have no information to go back beyond Tobias S.'s father, Tobias WEAVER. That is what I am looking for. If any of you have any information it would be highly appreciated. ---------------------------------- I do have a full genealogy of the HESS family, coming down as far as my children, and going back to Nicholas HESS, born in Zweibrucken, Germany, July 15, 1724, who came to the USA about the year 1741. The exact date and the ship of his travel are uncertain. Very little of his forbears is known. At about the age of twenty-one years, being then a resident of Springfield Twp., Bucks Cty, PA, Nicholas was married to Catherine Funk, a native of Montgomery Cty., PA. They had six children - Conrad, Philip, Elizabeth, John, George, and Catherine Hess.
