He married ANNA MARIE BADER b.Saucon twsp, Northampton Co, PA. (her birthdate is unknown) on December 25, 1864. they had 6 children: CLARISSA (Clara) b Nov 7, 1865 in Samson, PA WILLIAM, April 4, 1867 in Philadelphia, PA ARCHIE, June 8, 1869 in Gerryville, PA IDA LILLIE, March 12, 1871 in Gerryville, PA HATTIE REBECCA, Sept. 21, 1873 in Bethlehem, PA BERTHA ALICE, Aug 25, 1875 in Bethlehem, PA (died at age 1 year) The family move to OSBORNE, Osborne Co, KS after the birth of BERTHA ALICE.. probably about 1876? ANNA MARIE died one year later. The children were farmed out. JEFF DURFFY took in WILLIAM, CLARA and HATTIE (one source I have shows that HATTIE went by the name DURFFY) In 1888-1889 WILLIAM went to DECATUR, Burt Co, NE. the rest of the children followed except HATTIE. FRANKLIN remarried and went to DECATUR, NE about 1909 but stayed just one year before returning to OSBORNE, KS where he died about 1917-1918. FRANKLIN was in the Union Army during the Civil War and was wounded in the face and leg. He walked with a cane. I would be so happy to hear from anyone that has anykind of information concerning this family. Rosa Weaver Rosawe@aol.com --part0_903717326_boundary--
