    1. [WEAVER-L] WEAVERs in Wayne Co New York
    2. Hi. My name is Brian Madigan and I am new to this list. My wife's grandmother was a WEAVER and I am trying to trace her line. I do not have very much to go. I'll tell you what I have and hopefully someone out there has a connection. Hazel Irene WEAVER (my wife's grandmother) was born 16 Aug 1906 and died Jul 1993. In 1937, She married Carroll WEMESFELDER and produced two children, James and Roxanne. Hazel's parents were Lewis WEAVER (b.1863, d.1929) and Hattie FINCH (b.1871 in Furnaceville, Wayne Co.,NY, d. 5 Mar 1940). What is intriguing is that Lewis had a brother, William, who married Hattie's sister, Emma. To the best of my knowledge that union produced no offspring as William died at age 25, shortly after they were married. I have no info on the parents of Lewis and William. I can't find them in earlier censuses so I suspect that they moved into Wayne county somewhere around 1890. Thanks for any help. Brian Madigan Syracuse, NY MadiganB@nimo.com

    1. [WEAVER-L] Carrie Weaver
    2. Hi, I am looking for any information on Carrie Josie Weaver. She is my gr. grandmother. She was born 8/1/1870 and died in 1953. She married John Emery McFadden (born 7/16/1868, died 6/13/1942) They lived in Toledo Ohio, but may have come from Pennslyvania. They had 5 children; Raymond, Norman, Mabel, Marie and Elizabeth. I would love to find out who her parents were and where she came from. Thanks, Jeanne Moretti
