2. Hi Mary, I am helping my son-in-law trace his Weaver family from TN. We don't have a lot of info yet, but here's what we have. WEAVER,Tom, unknown parents or county of birth. He married Cassina Kirby from TN, no other info on her. I'm guessing they were born in mid 1800's. They moved to Arkansas and had at least one child, Mary Louise Weaver, b.1879 in AR. The family believes Mary is at least part Cherokee Indian, unknown if from mother or father's side. Have you heard of Weavers being Indian? If she is only part Indian it could be from her Kirby side, we're still trying to find out. I would love to hear from you if you have any info on this branch of Weaver's, Thanks, Charlotte A.

2. S. Weaver
3. Pat I guess we are distant cousins as some of Calebs ancestors are mine but way back) here is some of the information you asked for it, comes from a book I have "History and Genealogy of a Branch of the WEAVER FAMILY" by Lucius E. WEAVER published about 1926, which is a treasure trove of information on this line. The first Caleb, was the 4th of the 4 children of John (Joseph 5, William 4, Clement 3, Clement 2, Clement 1) and Susannah Carr of Greenwich RI. He married Hannah FRANKLIN daughter of David Franklin and died about 1852. They had 8 children, the second being Caleb. The second Caleb and Matilda MATTESON had 12 Children with Ruth being the oldest. She married Silas Stewart and had 8 children. I have more information on this line and if you would like me to copies of the pages out of Lucius' book let me know Sterrie Sterrie Weaver ---------- Original Text ---------- From: "Pat Dyer" <dyerp@megabits.net>, on 8/3/99 11:59 PM: Hi All, Would anyone happen to have information on the children of the two Caleb WEAVER familes listed below? I would be grateful for any assistance. Caleb [1] WEAVER b: May 09, 1771 in Coventry, Rhode Island d: December 05, 1854 in Arkwright, NY . +Hannah FRANKLIN b: Abt. 1773 d: September 29, 1843 in Arkwright, NY Caleb [2] WEAVER b: Aug.23, 1800 in Greenfield, Saratoga Co., NY d: Oct.07, 1855 in Arkwright NY +Matilda MATTESON b: March 20, 1806 in Hoerick, NY d: July 13, 1889 in Arkwright, NY Child of Caleb (2) and Matilda: Ruth WEAVER b: Sept 28, 1825 in Arkwright, Chautauqua Co., NY d: July 06, 1875 According to Obit in Fredonia Censor, Caleb and Matilda had 12 children who lived to adulthood. I only know of Ruth, so far, who was my GG grandmother. 1. [WEAVER-L] 63 new family web pages and new email address ( wi4r@aol.com )
2. I used the new PAF 4.0 program to build 63 new genealogy web pages. They are all linked together and to my old WEAVER home page. I'm sending this notice to all the email addresses I've received over the years as there may be something of interest for you. These pages are probably full of errors and need correcting and updating. If you send any corrections or updates, I will try to post them as quickly as possible. Here's my home page address in case you lost it, forgot it, or just plain threw it away, http://www.geocities.com/heartland/prairie/4671 and for AOL members here's the link Othniel Weaver family . There are over 22,000 individuals listed within all the pages and maybe 3,000 surnames including ADAM, ADAIR, ADCOCK, AYCOCK, ANDERSON, AYERS, ANDREW, ANDREWS, BARON, BARRON, BARTON, BAXLEY, BLACK, BOLT, BRASWELL, BRAZIL, BREAZEALE, BULLOCH, BULLOCK, BURKE, BURK, BURKS, BURKES, BUTLER, CADE, CALLAWAY, CHEEVERS, CHEWNING, CHURCH, CLARK, CLARKE, CLOUD, COLLINS, CONWAY, COOK, COOKE, CUNEDDA, DAVIS, DICKSON, DOHERTY, DUNGAN, EVANS, EVENS, FREEBORN, FITZGERALD, FLOOD, FLOYD, FULGHUM, GARRARD, GATES, GAY, GIRRARD, GREEN, GREENE, GRIFFIN, GRIMSLEY, HARALSON, HARRIS, HAY, HAYES, HAYS, HESTER, HEXT, HOLLAND, HOLLEY,HUEY, HUGHEY, JACKSON, JOHNSON, JOHNSTON, JOHNSTONE, JONES, LEVERETT, LEVERETTE, LEVERITT, LIVERETT, LIGNON, LINDSEY, LOVING, MAYFIELD, MERCER, MORGAN, MOSELEY, NICHOLAS, NOLAN, O'BRIEN, OLDHAM, O'NEAL, PATTILLO, POOL, POST, REEVES, REYNOLDS, ROCKETT, SANDS, SCOTT, SHARPE, SHIVERS, SMITH, SPENCE, SPRINGER, STEPHENS, THOMEY, THRASHER, THRESHER, TRAMMELL, TRAYNHAM, TREADWAY, UPSHAW, VEAZEY, WARREN, WATTS, WEAVER, WEBER, WEBBER, WEVER, WHITE, WILHITE, WILKERSON, WILLIAMS, WILLIAMSON, and WRIGHT.
