Thanks for the reply. Here's what I'm working on. John Baker was married to Susan Gatton in Campbell co Ky. He died 1822. In 1826, she remarried to Nicholas Connett (Conant) who took her and her children to Fayette Co., OH. where Nicholas died. In 1840, Susan was in Wayne Co., IN. She had three sons (first names unknown) who were Bakers, plus some Connett children. I THINK the James M. Baker who, in 1846 married Phoebe Doddridge, daughter of John, was one of them. I was hoping a Dodddridge researcher might know where they went after 1870, or if they both died 1870-1880. They went to Putnam Co., as did Susan Connett. They were there in 1860 and 1870, then vanished. My goal, of course is to connect him to Susan Connett. I THINK his brothers were Sylvester and Lorenzo Baker. Still working on them too. Any ideas?
