Could this be John JORDAN ? 1872 J. J. JORDAN was part of a committe to study the feasability of removal of the County Court House { County seat } from Centerville to Richmond . There was much debating about this & the voters were divided . J. JORDAN & ect signed a notice to the voters telling them the cost of land & other necessaries in order to move the County seat . 3-8-1873 3,764 votes were 55% of said vote The Court House was declared as fixed & located to Richmond .
