Morrisson-Reeves Library has in their reference section, a book which shows that the Comers, at least, and I am sure the Hawkins as well as others, were here as early as 1807. Robert Comer had a mill on the east fork of the Whitewater River. I live not too far from there. I was surprised to learn I had Quaker ancestors. Marlene
