GenFest has several new additions! My apologies to those of you who will receive this more than once. PLEASE, I am asking anyone who is even thinking of coming to GenFest to please sign up. It doesn't matter if you live near or far, it helps me to plan things like gift bags, arrangements for the Mixer and food vendor plans. We have three hotels giving special rates to GenFest attendees and will soon have more: http://www.munpl.org/genfest/accommodations.htm New Partners have been added, including some mortuaries, new counties and special events scheduled. Please check out the list so far: http://www.munpl.org/genfest/genfestpartners.htm The Genealogy Market Place has added participants! Note the African American Genealogy Group, Yorktown/Mt. Pleasant Historical Alliance, Anderson Public Library's Indiana Room, Andrea Long's Biographies & More and representing Randolph County and, of course, Jay County! More to come on this one. Interesting Places to Visit has several new additions to check out too: http://www.munpl.org/genfest/placestovisit.htm I am currently finalizing some plans for food vendors. Yum! Also, plans for our GenFest Mixer on Friday night will soon be posted. And, last but not least, I will soon have a list of those businesses donating door prizes. The door prizes themselves will be a surprise. Thanks to all of you who have made wonderful suggestions. I want to thank Lynne King again. She is a super webmaster and our gracious host, Muncie Public Library, is lucky to have her. Shirley Pearson GenFest Coordinator http://www.munpl.org/genfest/genfest2005.htm
