(Wayman) Poster who was working on a family tree. She was my mothers cousin. In the letter she stated that our line came from Pleasant Jasper. He had two wives: Martha Rekes and Amanda Alice Powers. They had 10 children, but I don"t know who was the mother of who. My Grandmother Ruth (Wayman) Marple was the daughter of the son Stanley Knott Wayman.. Our family has been traced back to Georg Casper Weidman who changed his name to George Wayman when he came to Virginia about 1737/38. Waiting to hear from you.
