He did move west to Kentucky between 1803 (marriage in VA) and 1810 (appearance on 1810 US Census for Kentucky). Harmon, his uncle, removed to Kentucky between 1795 (birth of son, William, in VA) and 1798 (birth of son, Thomas, in Kentucky). Actually Harmon aka Herman was Henry's brother. Herman is my husbands direct ancestry.
