    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: LisaWayman33 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.wayman/192/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm just getting started with researching my family name and Ancestry.com seemed the logical place to start. My father knows very little of his family history since both maternal and paternal grandparents were deceased when he was born. I was able to find my great grandfather's parents, Mitchell Wayman and Clemmontine (or Clemmi). Census records were all that I found but nothing else... No information on Mitchell's parents, so I have hit a dead end. Hancock, Tennessee are where both were living and died. My father is Leon Wayman but his birth certificate reads William Edward...a mistake my grandmother never corrected. Any help in getting started would be very appreciated.
