Surnames: HAWKS, HENDRICKS, HENDRIX, STUBBLEFIELD Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5BC.2ACE/1052 Message Board Post: I'm hoping to find the obituary (if available) and the cemetery location for Robert Elmer Hawks who died in Bakersfield, CA 24 Aug 1941 and was removed for burial in Walla Walla I believe. Robert was married to Jennie A. (unknown) at least between 1896 - 1910. I believe that Jennie may have died in Washington and Robert remarried to Mary Tempa Hendricks/Hendrix by about 1920. The 1930 Census of Butte Co. CA lists Robert as having a step daughter Goldie P. Stubblefield. I presume that Mary was married previously to unknown Stubblefied possibly born in Missouri. Any help you might give would be greatly appreciated. Ginger
