Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5BC.2ACE/1021 Message Board Post: As some may know, Elizabeth Paul, wife of Thomas Paul died in childbirth on the trek west with the Kennedy Wagon Train of 1862. She was buried on the Lander Cut- off Trail under a pine tree in the Wyoming Range Mountains. A beautiful tribute to her is in the form of a bronze plaque placed by OCTA (Oregon California Trails Assoiation) and family members. There is also a wooden sign giving her date of death and age. I took the 5 day wagon train trip with Wagons Across Wyoming and visited her gravesite.
