He had killed a man on Smith Mt. near Wallowa OR. I saw the reference in a Scott family Genealogy Book and since my grandmothers name was Southwick I wanted to see if there was a family tie. Not that I really would want to think that of my family. Just thought it was interesting. So I am looking for any info about where I could find records for the late 1800 to early 1900 prisoners.
