Nelson Smith was born abt 1872/74 probably in Amabel Twp, Bruce County, Ontario. His parents were John Smith and Mary Jane McCauley. Nelson, his wife Julia Walker, and his children show up on the 1920 US census in Ramsey County, North Dakota. It has been said that Nelson died Sept. 1, 1950 in Walla Walla, Washington and that he is buried at Riverside Park. Any information would be appreciated.
