Snyder b. June 21, 1829, Chambersburg, Franklin Co. PA., a descendant from Sarah J. SNYDER, b. 10 May 1854 in Franklin Co. PA. and I would like to find my distant relatives to help share what info I have on the family and hopefully you will do the same... John married Sarah Jane or Jennie DAVIS and they had 4 children: Sarah Ann, Sarah J., Mary E. and Elizabeth McCabe SNYDER, John then remarried Roseana BECHTEL and they had more children, some of which are, Jennie who married Fred PARKS, and John M.P. SNYDER, JR. who became a prominent Lawyer. Also I would like to find the relatives from Adam J. Snyder who was married to Mary Davis and they had one child; John Franklin SNYDER. Adam remarried to Elizabeth Jane DEAVEBAUGH and they had 4 children; 2 girls and 2 boys, Wallace Clayton, Martha Bell, Mary Ellen and Irvin Gregg SNYDER. Irvin Gregg SNYDER info posted by a Marla J. Pruitt, states that Irvin Gregg married a Bertha STOVER, they had a son; William Stover SNYDER b. 1894 in Chambersburg, PA. was a deputy sheriff and lived in Carlisle, PA. Bertha then remarried a BOYER. John and Adams parents are John SNYDER and Mary HOUNDSTONE/ HOUNDSTINE.
