    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Southwick Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/5BC.2ACE/995 Message Board Post: I have found a reference to a Southwick that broke out of the Penitentary in Walla Walla. He had killed a man on Smith Mt. near Wallowa OR. I saw the reference in a Scott family Genealogy Book and since my grandmothers name was Southwick I wanted to see if there was a family tie. Not that I really would want to think that of my family. Just thought it was interesting. So I am looking for any info about where I could find records for the late 1800 to early 1900 prisoners.
