    2. Hi, I have an obit of my greatgrandfather and wondered if anyone knew what newspaper it was printed in on what date, where the church was, and any other info. It would be greatly appreciated. And are there any Martineaus, Kessens or Brewers out there? The date my family has for JB's death is Oct. 21, 1927. John B. La Berge Woodsman Passes On John La Berge passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Orville Brewer in this village, Saturday October 22, following an illness of two months duration. He was 69 years, 11 months, and 23 days of age at the tme of his death. John Baptist La Berge was born at Quebec, Canada, October 27, 1858. He came to the United States in 1876, locating first at Muskegan, Michigan. On June 7, 1883 he married Christine Allie at Oconto, Wis. The following children were born to them: Maud, Mrs. Orville Brewer, Marion; Flora, Mrs. John Kessen, Gresham; Lola, Mrs. Joe Martineau, Kimberly; Geo. LaBerge, deceased; William, Central Point, Oregon; Rudolph, Gresham' Adelaide, Marion; Ralph, Kimberly; and Alys, Forst Riley, Kansas. Deceased was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church from which edifice services were held Tuesday at 8:00 o'clock a.m. Rev. Quella having charge. Burial took place at Lena, Wis. John La Berge was of the old school of hardy pioneer woodsmen, who spent most of his life in the great outdoors. He was a quiet unassuming man making many friends since coming to this village, a little over a year ago, where he had since made his home. end Does anyone know what newspaper this would be and the date?
