Dear Listers... I want to share an exciting moment that just occurred. Someone on the Norway list provided me with the location of the Lunds cemetery records. I called the Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano today & told them that I was looking for my ancestors, Rasmus & Alette Paulsen, as well as Paul & Else Rasmussen. The church secretary said, "Oh, wait a minute! There is a Dolores Paulsen who is the caretaker of the Jerusalem cemetery in Lunds. She is a relative of Rasmus & Alette. Here... let me give you her phone number." Well, needless to say, I spent about an hour with her on the phone talking about all kinds of people. The sweetest part of our conversation was that I had the family tree page in front of me and, everytime she mentioned someone, all I had to do was to look for the name & I immediately made the connection. Suddenly, my ancestors were more than just names on a piece of paper! Thank you to everyone who has been so generous with their time and passion by providing me with the information that has brought me this far in my journey. I think I'll go out for Chinese food tonight... I just know my fortune cookie will say, "A trip to Wisconsin is in your future!" Linda
