Hi, West Allis is in Milwaukee County. My husband was born and grew up there. It is just west of the city of Milwaukee and experienced a population boom in the late 1800's and early 1900's due to large factories companies such as Allis Chalmers, which built homes and recruited families from Europe, especially Poland and Germany/Hungary. There are of course many other nationalities represented in the population (just a bit of history). The Wisconsin State Fair is also in West Allis, a national motor race track, and the US Olympic Speed Skating Rink and will have a nationally televised truck racing event there this coming weekend in case you would like a peek at the place on TV (I don't know what channel, sorry). Hope this helps, Rita I have relatives in West Allis (Stan & Ann Robley). Is this town in one of our three counties? Just curious... thanks. Linda
