Hello, A relative of mine who emigrated from Bergen, Norway in 1883 lived a few years in Iola, Waupaca after he came to the US. I know from other sources that he was educated as engineer. I have just now read that there was a college in Waupaca. Can anyone tell me what kind of college it was? Was it possible to study to become an engineer there? How many years did you have to study to become one? Were there many Norwegian students there? Are there any available sources from where I can gain information about this college?
