My Dotys went from Onieda Co., NY to Wisconsin via Michigan. Eugene Doty was b. in 1856 in Mich to John Doty and Mary (Buck). They moved on to Shawano Co., Wisc. and were on the 1860 Census with John's 2nd wife, Mary's sister, Jane. By 1870 John Doty died; Jane remarried James Warnick of Canada and they had 2 children on the census as was Eugene Doty on the census living with the Warnick family. 1874 - Eugene married Emma Mann 1875 - Eugene and Emma had Charles Eugene Doty 1880 - Eugene, Emma and Charles lived in Poygan, Wisc. 1898 - Charles was married (Don't know where. Suspect St. Louis) 1898 - Charles and Mollie (Frank) had a dau. Goldie b. ST LOUIS. 1904 - Eugene and Emma had a son Lloyd L. Mann b. ST. LOUIS. ca 1905 - Charles, Mollie and their 4 children (all b. in St. Louis) moved to Granite City, Madison Co., ILL. 1920 - Emma and Lloyd on Venice Twp., Madison Co., Illinois census (Eugene must have died between 1904 and 1920) 1920 - Charles, Mollie and their 4 children lived in Venice Twp., Madison Co., Illinois Does anyone know of anyother children of Eugene Doty and Emma (Mann) other than Charles (b. 1875, Wisc.) and Lloyd (b. 1904 St. Louis). 29 years is a long time between children. My library does not have soundex. I would appreciate any St. Louis information on the Doty family. If you could give me the jpages for the 1900 census, I will try to find the information.
