Over my spring break, I am going to be looking through the baptism, marriage, and hopefully death records at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manawa, WI. They have records from around 1870 to present. The first 40-50 years are in German, but it isn't too hard to figure out. (The pastor there speaks German and kindly helps me out). The people in the records are probably mostly from Symco (maybe), Ogdensberg, Union, Lawrence, Little Wolf, and maybe Royalton since in the early years St. Pauls was one of the only Lutheran churches in the area. Also, a few years ago St. Paul's School celebrated their 150 anniversary and they sold a "scrapbook" with pictures of most of the confirmation classes since 1920 and few from the earlier classes and a brief history of the school. I have a copy and would be willing to look up any names in there. My spring break doesn't start until March 8th, so I will not be going to the church until then, but if anyone would like for me to look up anyone while I am there, let me know. Tory
