Looking for info on Frederick Phillip Wagner who died in Oconto Falls in 1899. He was the town blacksmith and after his death his wife Christina turned the family homestead into a boarding house. She was known for her kindness to Indians and hobos, and her wonderful cooking...but NOT for her housekeeping. Frederick's children were: Rudolf, Fred, Louis, Alma, Phillip, Meta, Paul, William, Della Meta was County Clerk and Justice of the Peace in Oconto Falls until her murder July 4, 1957. Her sister Della married Ed Wolfram, Together Ed, Della and Meta were instrumental in the formation of Chute Lake and large property owners around the lake. Any info on this family would be appreciated. Especially interested in what happened to Willian, Paul, or Louis.
