Hi all, Am still trying to find someone who might have an uncle, aunt or grandparent in the Lena area that has some recollection of the surname Czekaj, circa 1902-1960. My grandfather, Joseph Czekaj homesteaded a farm a short distance from Lena in 1902. At that time the name may have been spelled Checki. He had 4 children, George, Andrew, Rose and Pauline. Joseph died in 1922 and his son Andrew and his wife Helen (nee Mikuli) took over the farm. They remained there until approx. 1965, when they sold it and moved to Green Bay.
