Last week someone posted a message regarding children whose mother had died at Pulaski. I have missplaced the e-mail. The orphanage was St. Joseph's Home for Children, and was located in the area of current Catholic Archdiose, Green Bay. The archdiose should have records in regards to their placement.. For the boy who was placed in Shawno County, his care would probably have been handled by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Health and/or Social Services, because of what was available on county level in the 1930s. I was told that parts of community of Pulaski, are in Oconto, Shawno and Brown County. Therfore, it would depend on which part of the village they lived in which county would be involved if it was handled on the county level. I was talking to a retired social worker who worked in Oconto and Shawno Counties. Hope this helps. Gloria
