Reposting again for any info on the following surnames: CZEKAJ, Joseph, farmed in the Lena area 1902-1922. Wife: Julia, nee Szeli. Son: Andrew, CHECKI (spelling was changed to phonetic). Born 1900 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. Married Helen MIKRUT in Lena approx. 1920. Helen and Andrew had two children, Stanley and Marcella. Marcella married Louis Pawlak in Green Bay who died in 1971. Stanley was killed while serving in the army in Korea in 1951. Other children of Joseph and Julia: George Czekay, (my father), Rose Czekaj, Pauline Czekaj. George move to Milwaukee in 1918 and Rose Rose and Pauline remained in the Oconto County area. Would appreciate hearing from anyone that has any information regarding these names.
