Dear Joanne, Other Oconto cemetery record holders are the Ed? Wilde's. They have a huge old book and will not only help you look up names (and may do it for you,) but will let you use the phone to call possible relatives once they know who you are after. They live on Madison. Jerry Bickel is the sextant for the Catholic ceme. out River Rd. I wouldn't recommend going to his place, but a letter might work. He had a REALLY old small book of burial records. I've seen it, but years ago. I'm told all his information is now in the Wilde's book, but.... I'd love to see it again anyway :) Evidently there is an effort to combine the records in Oconto. I don't have his address at my finger tips, but could likely find it for you it interested. The courthouse in Oconto has most records on micro(fiche) - the little film CARDs. It's quick an easy to use. Staff friendly and helpful, but not a lot of space to work. Tax records and plats are all at Green Bay archives - one heck of a great place! A place to try and stay in Sturgeon Bay is a B & B out by White Dunes park. It is north and east of SB about 10-15 min. I haven't stayed, but checked it out and it looked great. A good sitting area below to spread out your records and papers. Holly
