Hi, Just had a "Christmas in August" mail day--I received a reply from the Diocese of Green Bay and my SAWYER line quite possibly is CHAYER/CHEYES instead! Anyway, one of the family members I am looking for in the Little River Township of Oconto, was married at St. Peter's Catholic? in Oconto. Does this parish still exist and has anyone accessed their records? And the moral of the story is not to give up--as I had almost on this family line. And I was so certain it was Sawyer--but they must have "Americanized" Chayer! On to the Louiselle Index!! Thanks, Anne
