Hi Listers, Am still seeking info on James Harvey WAUGH (b1818 North Carolina) married to Rebecca MILLER (b1821 Virginia) on Sept 3, 1840 In Monroe County. They had 9 children with at least 6 surviving to adulthood as follows: Emily A. 1843 - ? Howard H. 1846 -1851 William M. 1848 -1853 Wickliffe 1852 - ? Alice 1854 -? John 1855- ? Walter 1859 -? Mary Elizabeth 1858-1858 Martin 1861- ? I can find this family in the 1850 Bloomington Township, 1860 Perry Township and 1870 Troy Township census, but then lose them all! James Harvey Waugh died in Dec 1864 and is supposedly buried in the Waugh Family Cemetery in Perry Township, Section 9, Monroe County, Indiana. But what of everyone else? Does anyone know anything about the descendents of this family? I would like to track down my MILLER cousins through my Rebecca MILLER d/o Martin Luther & Mary "Polly" Myers MILLER.
