William Richard WAUGH believed born in Ratcliff area (now called Tower Hamlets) married Martha CROXON in St.Dunstans Stepney 1794. On the Church record it was stated that both William and Martha were from Ratcliff. I have been told that there are no Church records for Ratcliff as the Church was burned down at about the time of their marriage, probably why they went to Stepney to be married. Does anyone know of any surviving Church records for Ratcliff? Children of William and Martha; James b1795, Ann b1802, William Richard b 1804, Martha Ann b 1808. Anyone else researching this family?
